Ashaway, RI - Ashaway Racket Strings has introduced the newest member of its popular Dynamite® family of tennis strings. Dynamite 16 Tough utilizes the same Zyex® core polymer as other members of the family, but in a special, multi-stranded monofilament construction that increases power and resilience. This Zyex construction allows Dynamite 16 Tough to maintain tension throughout the life of the string for consistent performance, and the rugged 16 gauge (1.30 mm) maximizes durability for chronic string breakers.

"It's designed to provide exceptional power and ball control for amateur or professional players who hit the ball really hard and break a lot of strings. The Zyex core in Dynamite 16 Tough minimizes tension loss for more consistent performance, and the braided surface maximizes control and increases spin."

Gloss black in color, Dynamite 16 Tough is available in 40 ft sets (12 m) and 360 ft reels (110 m). Because of the tension holding properties of Zyex, Ashaway recommends stringing Dynamite 16 Tough at approximately 10-15% less tension than standard tennis strings, up to a maximum of 60 lbs.
